Her cookbook, “ Hot Little Suppers: Simple Recipes to Feed Family and Friends,” was published by Harper Horizon in November. What started as a part-time biscuit-making endeavor from her kitchen in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, has grown to include eateries in Charleston, Atlanta and Charlotte, a thriving online and grocery store business, and her own television show on PBS. Morey is the founder and face of Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit. It’s a physical job, making the biscuits that have made her famous.
